About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement core protocol logic and financial primitives on the Canton blockchain. You'll architect high-performance backend systems using Rust and translate DeFi paradigms into functional, contract-based models using Daml.
This is a foundational role where you'll directly shape the technical architecture of BitSafe's institutional Bitcoin infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with our leadership team, engineering team, and customers to define technical roadmaps and architectural standards.

What You'll Do
🏗️ Architectural Design & Protocol Engineering
- Design and implement core protocol logic and financial primitives on the Canton blockchain
- Build distributed systems that handle complex state transitions with logical correctness
- Define and establish technical roadmaps and architectural standards across the platform
- Drive technical decision-making for institutional-grade Bitcoin infrastructure
🔄 Paradigm Translation & Smart Contract Development
- Re-engineer common DeFi systems (EVM/Account-based) into functional, contract-based models using Daml
- Audit and verify the logical correctness of smart contracts and distributed state transitions
- Translate traditional financial primitives into blockchain-native implementations
- Ensure security and rigor across all contract implementations
