About the Role

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve BitSafe's cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and site reliability practices on AWS. You'll architect scalable, secure environments that power institutional-grade Bitcoin services and ensure our Canton Network nodes, backend systems, and client-facing APIs run with the uptime and performance our customers demand.

This is a high-ownership role where you'll directly shape the reliability and security posture of BitSafe's production systems. You'll report to our CTO and collaborate closely with the core engineering team, security leads, and product stakeholders to keep our infrastructure world-class.

What You'll Do

☁️ AWS Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

• Design, build, and maintain production infrastructure on AWS (ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, S3, etc.)
• Architect highly available, fault-tolerant systems that meet institutional SLA requirements
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK to ensure repeatable, auditable deployments
• Manage networking, security groups, and access policies across multiple AWS accounts and environments

🔄 CI/CD & Release Engineering

• Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar) for Rust, Daml, and containerized services
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to enable fast, safe releases across staging and production
• Implement blue-green and canary deployment strategies to minimize downtime during releases
• Manage artifact repositories, container registries, and DAR deployment pipelines for Canton
